Academic Calendar 2026 Maldives. The president's office has announced that the academic year in 2026 will begin in january of that year. The national institute of education (nie) was established on 6th october 1976 under the ministry of education.

The government has released the academic calendar for next year, with the annual holidays scheduled for december. May 26 to february 20 of the following year;
